Project Fatherhood collaborates with JUST BEGINNING Project
In fall 2016, Project Fatherhood launched the Just Beginning program at Children’s Institute, Inc.
This five-session intervention is designed for fathers and their children (0-3 years) to improve father-child relationships. The tools learned in these session will help fathers feel more confident in their role as fathers of infant children.
In addition, the skills practiced in Just Beginning have been related fathers learning how to have fun with their babies and increase language skills of the children.
Session Topics include:
- Attachment
- Following the Lead
- Talking to Your Baby
- Encouraging and Praising your Child
- Putting it all together
Sessions are facilitated in both English and Spanish.
