Why did you give up?
Every day I wake up I wonder why,
Why you have given up on me.
Was it that hard to buy me diapers?
Was it that hard to mix formula in a bottle?
Was it that hard to teach me how to ride a bike?
Every day I wake up I wonder why,
Why you have given up on me.
Was it that hard to take me to the park?
Was it that hard to let me know that you love me?
Was it that hard to pick me up on the weekend to give my mom a break?
Every day I wake up I wonder why,
Why you have given up on me.
Was it that hard to call and tell me happy birthday?
Was it that hard to show your face at my 8th grade graduation?
Was it that hard to be a Dad???
